Nominations Now Being Accepted for the Williamsville High School Hall of Fame Class of 2026
We are excited to announce that nominations are now open, and can be submitted until 11:59 pm on Sunday, March 1, 2026, for the Hall of Fame Class of 2026. This class will be announced early in the Spring of 2026 and will be recognized at a banquet and ceremony on the evening of Saturday, September 12, 2026 at WHS. Individuals, teams, activities, clubs, or organizations who meet the following criteria can be nominated for the Class of 2026:1) Teams that participated and excelled in Williamsville High School activities, clubs, or organizations. Eligibility begins five (5) years after graduation.2) Individuals that participated and excelled in Williamsville High School sport, activities, clubs, or organizations. All seating within the stadium is general admission and will be available on a first come first serve basis when gates open. For the game on Saturday, November 15, gates will open at 1:00 pm, with kickoff slated for 2:00 pm. Please plan accordingly as gates will not open until this time. All materials placed on the bleachers prior to the opening of the gates on game day will be removed and confiscated. We also ask the general public to not sit in the areas that are designated for our marching band and student section. Boys Varsity Cross CountryThe WHS Boys’ Cross Country Team will be sending two runners to the IHSA State Meet, after finishing in the top fifteen at the Elmwood Sectional on Saturday, November 1. Lucas Hollinshead (Jr) finished fourth overall with a time of 15:20.15, and Ryan Patrick (Fr) finished fifteenth with a time of 15:51.35. The Bullets will now head to Detweiller Park in Peoria on Saturday, November 8. Race time is scheduled for 10:00 am.

Girls Varsity Cross CountryFor the eighth time in program history and third straight season, the WHS Girls’ Cross Country Team is headed to the IHSA State Meet. Led by junior Joelle Wilson who finished seventh overall (18:14:31) at the Elmwood Sectional, the Bullets finished fifth as a team with an overall score of 175.
