With a 41-22 win over Pleasant Plains on Thursday, October 31, the 8^th Grade WJHS Girls’ Basketball Team captured the 2024 Sangamon County Tournament championship.

Tryouts for the 2024 Williamsville Junior High School 8^th grade basketball team will take place on Tuesday, September 17 and Wednesday, September 18 from 3:30-5:00 pm at Williamsville Junior High School.

All players must have a current physical within the last year and complete the athletic registration process online, or they WILL NOT be able to participate in tryouts. You can access the athletic registration document at the following link: 24-25 Athletic Registration Form

If a player received an UPDATED PHYSICAL over the summer, they must bring a copy on the first day of try-outs and send a copy to Sarah Weakly at weakly@wcusd15.org and Kristen Woods at woodskr@wcusd15.org.

Coach Shade and the Williamsville Girls Basketball Program will be hosting a three-day camp starting on Tuesday, June 25 at the Williamsville Field House. The camp is open to students in second through eighth grade for the 24-25 school year. Students will be split into the following sessions:

• Session 1: 2^nd – 5^th Grade from 8:30 am – 10:00 am.
• Session 2: 6^th – 8^th Grade from 10:00 am – 11:30 am.

Parents can register their child by accessing the registration form at the link below. Cost of the camp is $50.00, and registration must be completed by no later than Friday, May 24, 2024.
