Coach Beard and the Williamsville Volleyball Program will be hosting a three-day camp starting on Monday, June 3 at the Williamsville High School Field House. The camp is open to students in first through eighth grade for the 24-25 school year. Students will be split into the following sessions:
- Session 1: 1st – 4th Grade from 8:30 - 10:30 am
- Session 2: 5th – 8th Grade from 10:45 am – 12:45 pm.
Parents can register their child by accessing the registration form at the link below. Cost of the camp is $60.00 or $100.00 if two campers are coming from the same household. Registration must be completed by no later than Friday, May 17, 2024.

The Williamsville CUSD 15 Athletic Department is proud to announce, that the Bullets Volleyball team is one of seven varsity teams from the 2023 Fall season to have been awarded the IHSA Team Academic Achievement Award. In order to be eligible for this award, a team must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. The overall GPA for the department for the season was 3.74, which was an increase from 3.62 in 2022.
The bar has always been set high at Williamsville High School in terms of success for both academics and athletics. We are proud that this group of student athletes has carried on this tradition of excellence both on the field of play and in the classroom.

The Bullets Volleyball team saw four players earn Sangamo All-Conference honors for the 2023 Fall season. Riley Holliday and Britni Walters both earned first team honors, and Hope Keenan earned second team honors. Brianna Walters earned third team honors.

The Bullets Volleyball team welcomes the Blue Jays of Porta High School to Dave Root Court on Thursday, October 26, as it will be an all Sangamo Conference matchup for the 2023 IHSA Class 2A Regional title. Game time is 6:00 pm, and doors will open at 5:15 pm. Admission for all fans is $5.00.

With a two set win over Illini Central on Tuesday, October 10, the Bullets captured the Sangamo Conference title title outright for the second straight season. This is the first time since 2014 and 2015 that the Bullets have won back-to-back conference title. This year’s championship marks the program sixteenth overall conference title.

Please join the Williamsville Sports Boosters at their two-night event this year, as they look to raise funds to help tackle and spike cancer. The funds that will be raised at these two events will go to support a local family that is currently battling cancer as well as the Springfield Clinic Cancer Center on behalf of the family. (At this the time, the family wishes to remain anonymous.)

T-shirts for the public and survivors are available for pre-order through Sunday, October 1 at 10:00 pm for both events at the following link: http://Bulletsgear.com. All orders will be available for pick up the week of the football game or the night of each of the games. Please follow the Williamsville Sports Boosters Facebook Page as we will post specific pick-up details as the event gets closer.
In addition to the t-shirts, multiple baskets will be raffled off at each event! Tickets will be five dollars each or five for twenty dollars, and can be purchased at each game.

In conjunction with the WHS Student Council, the WCUSD #15 Athletic Department will be offering free admission to all WHS students to the upcoming home volleyball games:
- Thursday, September 28, 2023 vs Olympia
- Tuesday, October 10, 2023 vs Illini Central (Senior Night).
In order to gain free admission, students will need to show their 23-24 WHS Student ID.

The Williamsville Bullets Volleyball program have partnered with Beyond the NICU at HSHS St. John’s Children Hospital for a diaper and wipe drive starting this coming week. Diapers and wipes will be accepted for donations at the upcoming Bullets home stand in September:
- Tuesday, September 5, 2023 vs Staunton
- Thursday, September 7, 2023 vs Glenwood
- Monday, September 11, 2023 vs Deer CreekMackinaw
- Thursday, September 14, 2023 vs Riverton.
As an extra incentive to participate in this great cause, the WCUSD #15 Athletic Department will give free admission to any fan who brings diapers or wipes to Dave Root Court on Thursday, September 7, 2023, when we welcome the Titans of Glenwood High School to town.
We look forward to all our fans in the communities of Sherman and Williamsville, as well as fans of the visiting schools, to help the Bullets flood the Beyond the NICU program with these vital supplies. This is just another way to show the great Springfield community that It Takes Us All to make the world a better place.

Tryouts for the 2023 Williamsville High School Volleyball Team will take place on both Monday, August 7 and Tuesday, August 8 from 8:00 – 11:00 AM at Williamsville High School.
All players must have a current physical within the last year and complete the athletic registration process online, or they WILL NOT be able to participate in tryouts. You can access the athletic registration document at the following link: 23-24 Athletic Registration Form
If a player received an UPDATED PHYSICAL over the summer, they must bring a copy on the first day of try-outs and send a copy to Jennie Wagoner at wagoner@wcusd15.org.
