The first day of practice for the 2023 Williamsville High School Football Team will take place on both Monday, August from 6:30 – 10:00 AM at Williamsville High School.
All players must have a current physical within the last year and complete the athletic registration process online, or they WILL NOT be able to participate in tryouts. You can access the athletic registration document at the following link: 23-24 Athletic Registration Form
If a player received an UPDATED PHYSICAL over the summer, they must bring a copy on the first day of try-outs and send a copy to Jennie Wagoner at wagoner@wcusd15.org.

The Bullets Football team saw sixteen players earn Sangamo All-Conference honors for the 2022 Fall season. Jake Seman, Jacob Finley, Ethan Hinds, John Layman, Sam McCoy, Colin Ripperda, Gage Knoles, Nolan Bates, and Josh Cates all earned first team honors. Harley Sharp, Jackson Workman, Brayden Johnson, and Kaden Ratliff all earned second team honors. While Noah Hauke, Mason Lyttaker, and Colin Burge were honorable mention. The Bullets finished with the second most players to earn all-conference honors in the Sangamo this season.

The 2022 Bullets Football Team played for an IHSA State Championship for the third time in program history on November, 25, 2022 at Memorial Stadium on the campus of the University of Illinois. The Bullets fell 48-17 to Elmhurst IC Catholic to finish second overall in class 3A and finish the 2022 season with a a record for 12-2; for the third best finish in program history.

Below you will find additional information for this week’s IHSA State Football Finals.
- There will be a send-off for the Bullets Football Team on Thursday evening at 7:30 pm. The send-off will take place in front of Williamsville High School.
- The University of Illinois has a clear bag policy for all their events on campus. Please see the items that are permitted at this link: University of Illinois Clear Bag Policy
- Williamsville is considered the home team on Friday, and fans should sit on the west side of Memorial Stadium. You can view a map of the seating within the stadium at this link: IHSA State Football Finals Seating Map
- Win or lose, Williamsville High School will host a season celebration for the Bullets Football Team on Monday, November 28 starting at 2:50 pm at Dave Root Court. The entire Bullet community is invited to come and celebrate this historic season with the WHS Student Body.

There are a variety of parking options available to fans near Memorial Stadium on the campus of University of Illinois for this Friday’s IHSA State Football Finals. Fans will not be charged a separate parking fee, as the fee has been included in this year’s ticket price. The map below provides detailed information of where to park in relation to the stadium. Be advised, the lot to the south of Memorial Stadium will only be available for ADA parking on Friday due to a University of Illinois Men’s Basketball game taking place at the State Farm Center.

One of the great traditions of the IHSA State Finals is Tent City, hosted by Visit Champaign County. The Williamsville Sports Boosters in conjunction with the senior football parents are sponsoring this year’s tent; we invite all the Bullet faithful to join in the celebration prior to the game. Hot dogs, hamburgers, pork chops, soda, water, and a variety of other food items will be available at this unique tailgating experience. The tent will open for fans at 12:00 pm on Friday, November 25, and is free of charge. The Bullets Football team will make their third trip to the IHSA State Finals since 2014 after defeating Unity High School 12-7 on Saturday, November 19. The Bullets will take on the Knights from Elmhurst IC Catholic Prep at 4:00 pm on Friday, November 25 at Memorial Stadium on the campus of University of Illinois. Advanced tickets will be available for purchase in the main office of Williamsville High School for $15.00 during the following times this week:
- Monday, November 21: 3:30-7:30 pm
- Tuesday, November 22: 9:00-1:30 pm.
Tickets will also be available for purchase onsite at the following locations on Friday, November 25:
- The ticket booths on the south end of Memorial Stadium along Kirby Ave
- The ticket trailer on the west side of Memorial Stadium near the Red Grange statue
- The U of I ticket office on the west side of the State Farm Center
If you cannot make it to the game, it will be broadcast live via the following media outlets:
- Bullets TV via the NFHS Network at www.whsbulletstv.com
- WCIX-49 (MyTV)
- Sports Radio 1450 AM.

Williamsville High School is excited to be hosting the semifinal playoff game for the 2022 3A IHSA Football Playoffs against Tolono Unity High School. The game will take place on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Paul Jenkins Field on the campus of Williamsville High School. Admission to the game is $8.00 if you purchase tickets in advance via GoFan, or $9.00 cash at the gate on the day of the game. All seating within the stadium is general admission and will be available on a first come first serve basis when gates open at 1:00 pm on Saturday. Any and all materials placed on the bleachers prior to the opening of the gates on game day will be removed and confiscated.
Dogs and other pets are also not allowed at Paul Jenkins Field or on the campus of Williamsville High School during home varsity football games. If you bring an animal with you to the game other than a clearly marked service animal, you will be asked to leave the facility.
If you can’t make it to the game, you will be able to watch it live on Bullets TV on the NFHS Network. If you don’t already have a subscription, you will be able to purchase one by going to www.whsbulletstv.com so you won’t miss a moment of the action during the 2022 playoffs!

For the fifth straight season, the Bullets Football Program has advanced to the IHSA 3A Quarterfinals. The Bullets will travel to fellow Sangamo Conference member, Olympia High School, for a 2 pm kickoff this Saturday, November 12; gates will open at 12:30 pm. Tickets for this Saturday's game can be purchased now via GoFan, via the link or QR code below. Tickets are $7.00 if purchased in advance, or $8.00 if purchased at the gate.
