The Williamsville CUSD 15 Athletic Department is proud to announce, that the Bullets Boys Golf team was one of seven varsity teams from the 2024 Fall season have been awarded the IHSA Team Academic Achievement Award. In order to be eligible for this award, a team must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. The overall GPA for the department for the season was 3.72.

The bar has always been set high at Williamsville High School in terms of success for both academics and athletics. We are proud that this group of student athletes has carried on this tradition of excellence both on the field of play and in the classroom.

Girls Golf: 3.78

Volleyball: 3.93

WHS Bullet Golfers, Max Fisher (1st), Caden Yearly (5th), and Gage Ratliff (7th) all earned all-conference honors at the 2024 Sangamo Conference Championship on Monday, September 23 at The Rail.

Max and Ansderson Thielen from Pleasant Plains were both tied at 76 after completing regulation, and then went to a sudden death playoff.

Both players birdied the first playoff hole and parred the second. On the third playoff hole Max parred to edge out Anderson for the individual conference championship, who bogeyed.

The Bullets Boys' Golf Team captured the 2024 Greenview Invite team title with an overall team score of 331. The Bullets were anchored by sophomore Max Fisher (75) who captured the tournament title as an individual and junior Caden Yearley (84) who took seventh as an individual.

Tryouts for the 2024 Williamsville High School Boys’ Golf Team will take place on both Monday, August 12 and Tuesday, August 13 at 6:30 am at The Rail Golf Course.

All players must have a current physical within the last year and complete the athletic registration process online, or they WILL NOT be able to participate in tryouts. You can access the athletic registration document at the following link: 24-25 Athletic Registration Form

If a player received an UPDATED PHYSICAL over the summer, they must bring a copy on the first day of try-outs and send a copy to Denise Bryant at bryant@wcusd15.org.
