Boys and Girls Track Teams Part of Five Spring Varsity Teams to Earn the IHSA Team Academic Achievement Award

The Williamsville CUSD 15 Athletic and Activity Department is proud to announce, that all five of our varsity teams from the 2023-2024 Spring season have been awarded the IHSA Team Academic Achievement Award. To be eligible for this award, a team or activity must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, participate in the IHSA postseason, and have a minimum number of participants as determined by the IHSA. 


The overall GPA for the department for the Spring season was 3.76 which was an increase 3.73 from the previous school year.


The bar has always been set high at Williamsville High School in terms of success for academic, athletics, and activities. We are proud that this group of students has carried on this tradition of excellence both in competition and in the classroom.

Girls Track Team Wins Sangamon County Championship for the First Time in Program History

The Williamsville High School Girls Track Team won the 2024 Sangamon County Championship over Pleasant Plains by a score of 171 to 168 on Friday, May 3. This was the first time in program history that the girls track program have been crowned county champions.
