The Williamsville Junior High Softball Team captured the 2024 IESA 2A State Championship on Saturday, September 28, 2024 in an 11-0 win over Illini Bluffs in the championship game. During the championship weekend, the Bee Bees outscored their opponents 30-1. This was the program's first state championship since 2013 and fourth overall (1989, 1991, 2013, and 2024).

We ask the WCUSD #15 community to come together on Friday, September 27 to help send the Bee Bees Softball Team off to Normal for the 2024 IESA State Tournament.

The team will leave from the back of Williamsville Junior High School at approximately 9:30 am before heading through Williamsville to get on the interstate.

Williamsville Junior High School in conjunction with the WCUSD #15 Athletic and Activity Department, are excited to announce a fan bus for WJHS students for this Friday’s IESA State Quarterfinal Softball game between the Bee Bees and the Cougars of Winchester Elementary in Normal.

Sign-ups will take place on Wednesday, September 25 before school from 8:10 – 8:25 am in the cafeteria at WJHS. Cost for the bus is $10.00, and this will include transportation and admission to the game; money must be turned in when students sign up. Students will be responsible for their own food once they arrive at Champions Field in Normal. WJHS will prioritize seventh and eighth grade student fans first.

The bus will leave WJHS at 10:00 am on Friday and return at approximately 3:30 pm. Students who ride the bus to the game will be required to ride the bus back to WJHS.

The Williamsville Junior High Softball Team captured the 2024 IESA 2A Sectional Title on Saturday, September 11, 2024 in a 11-5 win over Tri-Valley Middle School. This was the program's second straight sectional title.

The Bee Bees will now play the Cougars of Winchester Elementary School in the IESA 2A State Tournament Quarter-Finals on Friday, September 27, 2024 at Champions Field in Normal. First pitch is scheduled for 12:00 pm.

The Williamsville Junior High Softball Team captured the 2024 IESA 2A Regional Title on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 in an 1-0 win over Athens Junior High School. This was the program's second straight regional title.

The Bee Bees will now play the Vikings of Tri-Valley Middle School for the IESA 2A Sectional Title on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Jane Grebner Field on the campus of Williamsville High School. First pitch is scheduled for 11:00 am.

The Bee Bees Softball Team captured the 2024 Clinton 3D Softball Tournament by going 5-0 and defeating their opponents by a margin of 61-1.

Tryouts for the 2024 Junior High Bee Bees Softball team will be held July 29, 30, and 31 from 4:00-5:30 pm at Jane Grebner Field on the campus of Williamsville High School. Those wishing to try out as a pitcher or catcher should plan to say until 6:00 on Monday and Tuesday only. All girls entering 6th, 7th, and 8th grades are eligible to try out. Tryouts will be closed, so please drop your child off at the field and pick her up at the designated times.

There will be a mandatory parent meeting for all those trying out on Monday, July 29 at 6:30, in the auditorium at Williamsville High School. Information regarding mandatory parent/athlete meeting for all 2024 Fall junior high athletes will be sent out to all families via TeacherEase before the end of the 23-24 school year.

All players must have a current physical within the last year and complete the athletic registration process online, or they WILL NOT be able to participate in tryouts. Information regarding athletic registration for the 24-25 school year will be sent out to all families via TeacherEase before the end of the 23-24 school year. If a player receives an UPDATED PHYSICAL over the summer, they must bring a copy on the first day of try-outs and send a copy to Denise Bryant at bryant@wcusd15.org .
