The WHS Girls Track and Field 4 x 800 meter relay team of Louisa Wilson, Hannah Nation, Taylor Bressan, and Joelle Wilson finished in tenth place at the IHSA 2A State Track Meet at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston. The also set a new school record with a time of 9:52.23, which broke the previous school record that they had set the day before of 9:56.15.

The Williamsville High School Girls Track Program had six different events qualify for the IHSA State Track Meet at the IHSA 2A Williamsville Sectional on Thursday, May 15:

The girls will now compete at the IHSA State Track Finals at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston beginning on Friday, May 23. Additional information regarding the IHSA State Finals can be found at www.ihsa.org.

Joelle Wilson broke her own school record of 2:19.41 in the 800 meter at the 2025 Sangamo Conference Outdoor Championships on Tuesday, May 6.

She now holds the record at a time of 2:18.03.
