Senior Jacob Finely was recently named as an honorable mention member of the AP 2A all-state Illinois boy basketball team for the 22-23 season. 

Seniors Jacob Finely and Jake Seman were recently named as members of the 22-23 boys’ basketball all-conference team for the Sangamo Conference. Jacob earned first team honors, while Jake was named to the second team.

The Bullets Boys Basketball Team continues the IHSA Postseason, as they travel to University High School in Normal on Friday, February 23 to play for the IHSA Class 2A Regional Title. They will take on the host Pioneers at 7:00 pm, and admission for all fans is $5.00. Williamsville High School will be offering a fan bus for this Friday’s IHSA 2A Boys’ Basketball Regional Final against Normal University High School. Any student from WHS can sign up today, Thursday, February 23 in the main office throughout the school day. It will cost students $5.00 to ride the bus. This fee will need to be paid to the main office by 1:00 pm on Friday, February 24. The minimum number of students that we need to sign up in order to take the bus is twenty, and the maximum number of students that we can take is fifty-two.

Students will also need to pay the $5.00 admission fee for the game once they arrive at University High School as well. The bus will leave from the main entrance of WHS at 5:30 pm on Friday, February 24, 2023. If students ride the bus to the game, they will also be required to ride it back to WHS. Any additional questions regarding the fan bus can be directed to the main office at WHS. 

The Bullets Boys Basketball Team continues the IHSA Postseason, as they travel to University High School in Normal on Wednesday, February 22 at 7:30 pm. They will take on the Turks of Tremont High School and admission for all fans is $5.00. Williamsville High School is excited to be hosting the regional quarterfinal game for the 2023 2A IHSA Boys Basketball Postseason against Deer-Creek Mackinaw High School. The game will take place on Saturday, February 19, 2023 at 3:30 pm at Dave Root Court on the campus of Williamsville High School. Admission to the game is $5.00. All seating at Dave Root Court is general admission and will be available on a first come first serve basis when doors open at 2:45 pm on Saturday. 

If you can’t make it to the game, you will be able to watch it live on Bullets TV on the NFHS Network. If you don’t already have a subscription, you will be able to purchase one by going to www.whsbulletstv.com so you won’t miss a moment of the action during IHSA’s March Madness.
