The Williamsville CUSD 15 Athletic Department is proud to announce, that the Bullets Girls Golf team is one of seven varsity teams from the 2023 Fall season to have been awarded the IHSA Team Academic Achievement Award. In order to be eligible for this award, a team must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. The overall GPA for the department for the season was 3.74, which was an increase from 3.62 in 2022.

The bar has always been set high at Williamsville High School in terms of success for both academics and athletics. We are proud that this group of student athletes has carried on this tradition of excellence both on the field of play and in the classroom.

Boys Golf: 3.43

Boys Soccer: 3.65

Boys Cross Country: 3.82

Volleyball: 3.89

Girls Golf: 3.93

Senior Bullet Gofler, Zoey Beard finished her season and career at the 2023 IHSA State Tournament after making the cut on the first day. With her advancement to the final day of the tournament, Zoey finished with an overall score of 184 (89 and 95) and tied for fifty second overall in class 1A.

The Williamsville High School Girls Golf team captured the 2023 Sangamo Conference Championship on Thursday, September 21 at Edgewood Golf Club in Auburn. The Bullets had an overall team score of 414 and were lead by senior Naomi Roberts, who finished fourth overall with a score of 96. Senior Zoah Beard finished sixth (98) to earn medalist honors as well. 

This was the third straight conference title for the Bullets.

Tryouts for the 2023 Williamsville High School Girls’ Golf Team will take place on both Monday, August 7 and Tuesday, August 8 at 10:00 am at The Rail Golf Course.

All players must have a current physical within the last year and complete the athletic registration process online, or they WILL NOT be able to participate in tryouts. You can access the athletic registration document at the following link: 23-24 Athletic Registration Form

If a player received an UPDATED PHYSICAL over the summer, they must bring a copy on the first day of try-outs and send a copy to Jennie Wagoner at wagoner@wcusd15.org.

Throughout the Summer, Williamsville High School students who are interested in participating in Girls' Golf for the 2023 season, have access to a Summer membership package at The Rail. This includes golf (without a cart) and use of the driving range and putting green. This membership is made possible through a donation from the Williamsville Sports Boosters.
