The WJHS BoysCross Country qualified for the IESA State meet after finishing first overall in the IESA Sectional, on Friday, October 6 at Lincoln Park in Springfield. The Bee Bees finished with four runners in the top ten:
- Griffin Gwaltney (4th)
- Ryan Patrick (5h)
-Trent Wilson (6th)
- Bennett Miles (9th)
The team will now compete at Maxwell Park in Normal on Saturday, October 14 at 1:00 pm.

The WJHS Girls Cross Country qualified for the IESA State meet after finishing third overall in the IESA Sectional, on Friday, October 6 at Lincoln Park in Springfield. Eighth grader Brooklyn Turley finished second overall as an individual.
The team will now compete at Maxwell Park in Normal on Saturday, October 14 at 12:15 pm.

The first day of practice for the 2023 Williamsville Junior High School Cross Country team will take place on both Tuesday, August 15 from 3:30 -4:45 pm at Don Williams Track on the campus of Williamsville High School.
All runners must have a current physical within the last year and complete the athletic registration process online, or they WILL NOT be able to participate in tryouts. You can access the athletic registration document at the following link: 23-24 Athletic Registration Form
If a runner received an UPDATED PHYSICAL over the summer, they must bring a copy on the first day of try-outs and send a copy to Jennie Wagoner at wagoner@wcusd15.org.

The Williamsville Junior High School Cross Country program has a variety of open runs that are taking place throughout the 2023 Summer contact days. These workouts will begin during the month of July.
Be sure to subscribe to junior high cross country team by subscribing with class name Cross Country in the Remind App. The class code to subscribe is @jhcross. Specific weekly schedules, with times and locations of fun runs will be posted in the Remind App.
